The Good Wife only has one major cast member signed for next season, and it’s not Julianna Margulies

Margulies fueled speculation about leaving the CBS drama when she said last night at a tribute to creators Robert and Michelle King (perhaps jokingly), “I’m unemployed come April, and I think you haven’t seen me in a while, at least not in person, so I thought I should show up.” According to Deadline, “Matt Czuchry is believed to be the only major Good Wife cast member signed for Season 8.” Deadline says “there hasn’t been much movement” on getting the rest of the cast aboard for next year, but a decision on The Good Wife’s future, with the Kings leaving at the end of this season, is expected to be made soon so that a proper sendoff could be given to the acclaimed series.
