If you love rom coms and the humor on The Goldbergs, you're in luck: ABC has just approved a pilot from two of the show's EPs, Adam F. Goldberg (whose childhood inspired the quirky family) and David Guarascio (who also worked on Community). The two men will serve as EPs and also write the 30-minute pilot.

Per ABC, the yet-unnamed series (currently called Untitled Goldberg/Guarascio) will focus on "a thirtysomething bachelorette whose life is turned upside-down when she finally meets the love of her life—a divorced father with three kids. This triggers even more upheaval when the slightly unhinged imaginary friend she created as an only child suddenly reappears in her life to help her navigate the transition from single girl to a woman ready for a family."

Other exec producers include Doug Robinson (also from The Goldbergs) and Patrick Osbourne.
