Dick Wolf’s takeover of Chicago will be complete on Tuesday, Nov. 17 when the prolific producer unveils his third Windy City-based NBC drama.

Chicago Med is all about the docs and nurses at a major teaching facility. Staffing the hospital is a combination of relative newbies and familiar faces. Ones you'll recognize include Law & Order veteran S. Epatha Merkerson, as the facility’s chief administrator Sharon Goodwin, Oliver Platt (whose recently appeared on Fargo and The Good Wife,) as psychiatric chief Daniel Charles, and Arrow's Colin Donnell (who trades his sleek Tommy Merlyn suits for scrubs as Dr. Connor Rhodes).

Some of the characters have already been threaded into Med's sister shows Chicago Fire and P.D., particularly Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss), the brother of a CPD cop, and nurse April Sexton (Yaya DaCosta), a former—and possibly future?—girlfriend of hunky firefighter Severide (Taylor Kinney). Expect one perpetual crossover among all the characters, who will be sharing the convivial First Responder vibe at Molly's Bar.

Here’s an exclusive first look at scenes from the show, plus interviews with some of its stars.
