FX announced Thursday that it has ordered Glover’s Atlanta series. The half hour comedy will follow two cousins traversing the ATL’s rap scene. Glover will star in and executive produce the 10 episodes.

Atlanta draws on Donald’s considerable talents as a musician, actor and writer to give us something unique,” said Nick Grad, one of FX’s presidents of original programming, in a statement. “The story is made all the more powerful by the great cast and the contributions of Donald’s fellow Executive Producer Paul Simms and director Hiro Murai. We can’t wait to for the debut of Atlanta next year.”

The cast also includes Brian Tyree Henry (who has appeared on The Knick and Boardwalk Empire), Lakeith Lee Stanfield (feature films such as Dope, Selma and Straight Outta Compton) and Zazie Beetz (Applesauce). Paul Simms and Dianne McGunigle will produce alongside Glover.
