It’s the end of smize.

After 22 cycles of signature walks, tear-inducing makeovers and time-crunched go-sees, America’s Next Top Model is coming to an end. The modeling competition hosted and produced by Tyra Banks will tooch its final booty when the cycle 22 finale airs Friday, Dec. 4 at 9/8c.

America’s Next Top Model was a successful franchise for two networks, first at UPN and then The CW, and it became not just a ratings hit, but a global pop culture phenomenon,” Mark Pedowitz, president of The CW said in a statement. “I want to thank Tyra and [executive producer] Ken [Mok] for all their years of success in establishing a show that was not just popular in the U.S., but all across the world.”

The series began on UPN in May 2003 before shifting to the newly created CW network in 2006. It spawned international editions everywhere from Australia to Vietnam, and raised the cultural profile of judges such as Janice Dickinson, Nigel Barker and “Miss J.” Alexander. Success stories from the show have included the careers of contestants like YaYa DaCosta, Analeigh Tipton, Kim Stolz and Eva Marcille.

Discussions are underway at The CW about airing a retrospective for the series sometime in late 2016.
