Just three episodes into the second season, there is no doubt that Gotham is intent on shaking things up. And at the today's New York Comic Con panel, fans got a peek at the latest upgrade with the first footage of Michael Chiklis' Captain Nathaniel Barnes.

After a three-minute recap of what we've seen so far this season (R.I.P. Jerome, hello Jessica Lucas), the clip then jumps right into the GCPD's introduction to their Patton-like new boss from this Monday night's episode (Fox, 8/7c). Although for some of the squad's shadier cops, it appears that professional relationship may be very short-lived. And speaking of short lives, the clip ends with a rapid-fire tease of upcoming mayhem at the hands of Theo Galavan (James Frain) and from the shots of splattering blood, it's looking like the body count is about to rise. Again.
