NBC’s Coach Reboot is Dead
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the comedy that was to pick up 18 years after Coach went off the air “was not going well and multiple people inside NBC were not optimistic about it from the start.” Deadline adds that “response to the reboot had been mixed at best, with sources indicating that it felt dated.”
In an e-mail dated Jan 3, 2010, the then-secretary of state asks an aide: “Can you give me times for two TV shows: Parks and Recreation and The Good Wife?” Of course, the Clintons helped inspire The Good Wife.

The Gershwin musical, which is performing down the street from the Ed Sullivan Theater, will be the first musical to perform on Colbert’s Late Show, on Sept. 18.
