What’s Worth Watching: Un-Life and New Life for the Men of Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy Hollow, “Kali Yuga” (Monday, January 26, 9/8c, Fox)

Hawley (Matt Barr) hasn’t always lived up to his promise. In the right hands, the treasure hunter could have provided a welcome distraction for Abbie (Nicole Beharie) before she and Ichabod (Tom Mison) inevitably hook up. (Well, theoretically.) But too often he’s been no more than a tool—in multiple senses of the word. Tonight, he gets some much-needed fleshing out when the woman who took Baby Hawley in stops by the Hollow. Perhaps more importantly, reanimated Frank Irving (Orlando Jones) might get to live a real un-life, thanks to some new evidence pointing towards his innocence in the murder of a cop and priest, who were actually killed by Irving’s demon-possessed daughter way back in Season 1. That means Jones gets to continue slaying every one of his scenes, praise Moloch.
