With the nightly news scarier than American Horror Story, it’s nice to know some relief is on the way in the form of NBC’s new show, Great News.

The comedy stars Briga Heelan as Katie, an optimistic segment producer for The Breakdown, a cable news show staffed by real doozies, including a new intern, her very involved mother (Andrea Martin). Created by The Mindy Project writer and guest star Tracey Wigfield, News reunites Wigfield with ex-30 Rock bosses and EPs Tina Fey and Robert Carlock.

Here’s a peek at the show’s promo poster featuring Heelan, Martin, Pitch Perfect‘s John Michael Higgins (Breakdown’s obtuse anchor Chuck), Saturday Night Live vet Horatio Sanz (the show’s editor), Nicole Richie (hilarious as Chuck’s hotter, younger cohost Portia), and Kimmy Schmidt‘s Adam Campbell (their harried executive producer Greg).

Great News, Series premiere Tues., April 25, 9/8c on NBC
