Fuller House is getting fuller—Netflix has renewed the recent series revival for a second season.

The show’s Twitter feed made the official announcement this morning, which will give original Full House fans an extra dose of nostalgia. It’s likely most of the core cast will sign on, and Fuller House creator and producer Jeff Franklin has said that “the door is always open” for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen to appear any time, even though they turned down the chance for Season 1. (After all, as Franklin admits, “we only need one of them.”)

In the meantime, while the new season is being developed, some of the stars will be seen in other projects. Jodie Sweetin appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America today and was the first celebrity dancer announced for Season 22 of Dancing With the Stars. “I’m dancing with Keo [Motsepe],” Sweetin said. “We have just had the first couple of days. It’s so fun. We got through some basic moves of like several different styles of dance, and just had a lot of fun with it. He and I get along really well, and he’s so excited that maybe we’ll have a chance to make it past like week three or four.”

Sweetin also told GMA that she enjoyed dancing growing up, and her Full House character, Stephanie, danced on the show. The actress is also following (or dancing) in the footsteps of her TV big sister, Candace Cameron Bure, who appeared on DWTS in Season 18. Bure took third place, which may put a little “sibling rivalry” pressure on Sweetin to outdo Bure!

Given how music plays such a role on Fuller House, it would probably be natural for DWTS to eventually recruit another star, particularly John Stamos, who will continue to be seen on his current FOX show, Grandfathered. As for his on-screen wife, Lori Loughlin, she’ll be seen on her current Hallmark Channel series, When Calls the Heart.
