Rita Moreno is set to have a very busy couple of months.

The EGOT winner will add another award to her mantle with the upcoming Kennedy Center Honors (airing Tuesday, Dec. 29). And, in the meantime, Moreno has booked guest spots on the second season of Grace and Frankie, Getting On‘s series finale and a return to Jane the Virgin. (Moreno is also the voice of Abuelita in the Sprout animated series, Nina’s World.)

“I just did [an episode of] the wacky, incredible, bizarre comedy called Getting On,” Moreno gushed. (Her character has a “new opportunity for the staff of Billy Barnes” in the Dec. 13 installment.)

The opportunity allowed Moreno to work with “one of my favorite actresses of all time, Laurie Metcalf (Dr. James),” she shared. “That I got to work with her was the joy of my life. I got on the set—I love the show, I think it’s brilliant, and I think the performers are brilliant and so is the director—and threw myself on them and hugged them and wrapped my leg around them. Literally! I almost knocked Niecy [Nash, who plays Didi] down. They are extraordinary. What a show. I’m in the very final episode, and it’s a hilarious little part.”

Moreno was equally enthused about her return to Jane the Virgin, where she plays Rogelio’s mother, Liliana.

“She’s obviously a bitch character; I cannot wait to see what nefarious things they have in mind for this woman,” Moreno laughed. “She’s probably going to hurt many feelings…I cannot wait to see the cast again, because they were so welcoming and open and warm. And of course, Jaime [Camil], who plays Rogelio, he just has me wetting my knickers. He’s very, very funny.”
