A new image from the forthcoming Sherlock special featuring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman has been released ahead of today’s panel with Steven Moffat, Sue Vertue and Rupert Graves at San Diego Comic Con.

Sherlockians, Cumberbitches and everyone else with good taste rejoice!

PBS Masterpiece’s Sherlock special finally has a trailer. And the 19th century-set (don’t ask) mystery looks suitably dark and exciting. Earlier this summer at the Television Critics Association press tour, showrunner Steve Moffat revealed this particular special will have a spookier storyline per the original Conan Doyle stories, with the possible element of a “creepy and scary” ghost story. And unlike the modern-day versions of Sherlock and Watson, the Victorian version will show “Sherlock is a bit more polished and operates more like a Victorian gentleman rather than a posh mood man,” Moffat teased. “And Dr. Watson is a bit more upright.”

While the flick will play on Christmas day in Britain, there is still no U.S. airdate. So, we can’t tell you when you can exhale. But enjoy the fun trailer below:
