The Shonda Rhimes trifecta of buzzy series that make up ABC’s Thursday night lineup (aka TGIT) will all be back next season as the network handed out renewals to Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder today.

Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder continue to keep viewers on the edge of their seats and wanting more. I’m thrilled to bring back these shows and the OMG moments that come with them,” said Channing Dungey, president, ABC Entertainment.

Next season will mark the 14th season for Grey’s, seventh for Scandal and fourth for HTGAWM. All three series are produced by ABC Studios. When TGIT returned on January 26, the network reached Thursday season highs and became the number one network each week in the 18-49 demo.
