Two of the stars from Freeform’s freshman sci-fi thriller Beyond are beyond excited about the show’s future, especially now that it’s been renewed for a second season.

Burkely Duffield and Jonathan Whitesell who play Holden and Luke Matthews—brothers reunited after Holden awakens from a 12 year coma with some mystical powers—sat down with TV Insider during January’s Television Critics Association winter press tour to discuss the show minutes after finding out that the series had been picked up. The duo had a lot to say about Beyond‘s stranger moments; how they bonded off set; and what it was like having the entire first season released online, on the Freeform app and On Demand at the same time.

Friday at 4:30/3:30c, the guys, their on-screen mom Romy Rosemont, new cast member Eden Brolin (Charlie)  and series creator Adam Nussdorf will participate in a screening and panel discussion at aTVfest, the Atlanta Television Festival, as well as a Facebook Live right before the event at 4/3c. So check it out…you never know who from TV Insider you might see!
